News for Interfaith Researchers: The International
Interfaith Centre archives are now with the staff at Parkes Library, part of the Hartley
Library at Southampton University, where in time they will be catalogued and available to researchers.
The archives of the International Association for Religious Freedom and the World Congress
of Faiths are already stored there, helping to make a rich resource for future research
into the early development of international interreligious relations and some of the
significant interfaith organisations that contributed to and helped shape it.

IIC News: At a recent meeting of IIC trustees and patrons (see picture above) it was agreed
to look forward to the next 18 months leading up to the 2009 Parliament of World Religions
in Melbourne, Australia by continuing IIC’s work with the International Interfaith
Organisations Network, including initiation of its new website - http://interfaithorganisations.net -, helping coordinate the next meeting in Cochin, India
this October, and by revising the flyer that gives information and contact details of all member
organisations. Other projects are being considered.
